Who is Weston Club Social Club for?
The social club is for single working professionals from ages 25+ in the west of Ireland who want to attend friendly social events.

Our Matchmaking service (re-launching Autumn 2025 is for ages 30+).

How to get the most out of Weston Club Social Club?
We have seen from our 15 years of experience organising social events, that it is those who attend regularly who are more likely to develop a relationship with someone in the club. Our advice is to attend as many events as you can in order to allow friendships and connections to grow.

Where are Social Club events held?
Our events are held mainly in Galway city and surrounding areas. Some of our day trips will be to county Clare or Mayo. 

Help! I am feeling nervous about attending alone!
Most people attend their first event alone. Some feel nervous at the start but very quickly relax as everyone is friendly and chatting away in no time! We invite you to attend 10 minutes before the event start time so our friendly hosts can help you settle in and feel comfortable before everyone else arrives. We are very approachable so don't worry😊

Can I bring a friend to events?
Yes absolutely! You can buy an additional ticket for a friend. or they can book themselves. However, we highly suggest you attend alone as you are more likely to mix with the group (most of whom come alone too!)

I am just outside of the age range, can I still join?
Age ranges are specified for each event. We ask that people respect that our members are here to meet people in that age range. We allow a little wiggle room however so if you are a couple of years outside the age range you are welcome to attend.

How do I find out about events?
Once you join the Whatsapp group you will receive invitations to events via text message. We use the Whatapp 'Community' feature so that we can message everyone at the same time but your details remain private. Other members cannot see you, your name or your phone number, unless they are already saved to your contacts. This ensures that no strangers have access to your contact details.
