I have made the big decision to team up with a business partner who is an expert Software Developer! For Weston Club to grow and help more people to find their long-term partner we need to keep improving the way we do things. For 2025 we are investing in new and better custom software.

While many clients who sign up for Matchmaking get an introduction within 1 week of signing up, some clients can be waiting several months for a match. This is because our current software is designed to only match people who are 100% matches based on their Partner Preferences (age, location, wants/doesn't want kids, smoker/non-smoker etc.

We are revamping our software so that we can give you your best match. So if there is no 100% match, then it will calculate who is your next best match. You can still have your set deal-breakers, but there will be a small amount of wiggle-room to find who is your best match within our database. This way we will be able to do many more introductions and you won't need to wait as long for an introduction!

On Saturday 5th October we have booked this lovely private bar on the top floor of Busker Brownes for a Singles Party Night for up to 80 singles (ages 28-45). Early-bird tickets sold out fast to those in the Weston Club Social Club (Whatsapp community group). Just 5 tickets remaining!

Good day all!
For anyone thinking of attending Speed-Dating, here is a photo of one of our events in action! We use the mezzanine level upstairs which give us a private and cosy space. Each event will have anywhere between 20 and 34 speed-daters on the night. I highly recommend Speed-Dating as a way of meeting a potential future partner as there are usually between 16 and 29 matches, meaning that up to 29 dates will be had as a result of the event!

I often ask guests at Speed-Dating how they heard about Weston Club and the reply is often "A friend recommended it as he/she met their current partner at a previous Speed-Dating night!".

With people being tired of online dating, speed-dating is a really refreshing way to meet lots of eligible single people in one evening, and it is great craic! Anyone who arrives nervous, leaves feeling relaxed after having had many fun conversations. Myself and my assistants are very welcoming so if you are nervous at all just let us know and we will look after you and get you settled in.

Hello everyone!
I haven't been too good at updating this blog, but, that doesn't mean that I haven't been busy hosting events these past few months! We've had Speed-Dating 38-49 on June 20th, Singles Trivia Night on 11th July, Speed-Dating 45-57 on 18th July, Singles Bowling Night on 10th August, Speed-Dating 35-48 15th August and Speed Dating 45-57 on 29th August.

Back we go again to the lovely venue that is Queen Street Bar in Galway city centre for another night of Speed-Dating! On Thursday 23rd May we will have up to 15 ladies and 15 gentlemen, ages 35 - 45, having an exciting round of 5-minute dates and on Thursday 6th June we will have ages 28-38. Book your place now as tickets usually sell out!

A fun night was had by all 31 guests at our bowling night. Everyone had craic and got to know each other over two games of bowling and then most of the group went on to the Cellar Bar for some more mingling late into the night. Thanks to all who came and made it a wonderful event!

This event will be in the lovely and cosy Queen Street Bar in the Victoria Hotel which is just off Eyre Square. When you arrive a the bar, get yourself a drink and come up the stairs to the mezzanine level where your host will greet you. Booking is essential as tickets are limited so as to keep an equal number of men and ladies. We look forward to seeing you on the night!

Join us for an exciting bowling event exclusively for people ages 25 - 38 & 36 - 49! On Friday 23rd February we will meet at 7.45pm at the bar in The Planet. Bowling will start 8:00pm sharp. Please arrive 7.45pm so we can get set up. We are hoping to make this our largest bowling event to date and have six lanes provisionally booked. Each person will play two separate one hour games with a different group of people. After Bowling, the group will have the option to go on to a Bar in the City for the rest of the evening.

How it went: Almost all tickets sold out and we had 6 lanes on the go for two hours of bowling. Afterwards a few of us went on to O'Connells in Eyre Square for some further socialising. There was a little prize for the two highest scorers in Bowling; well done to Brendan and Aleksejs!
