Meet the Team
My name is Caroline and I am passionate about bringing people together for fun experiences. I am founder of the Galway City Social club (2012) and the 1,000km Ireland Way hiking trail (2013). Currently I run Weston Club and will soon launch a new Matchmaking Service called MatchMe.ie.
In 2021 I signed up with a Matchmaker who I heard advertised on the radio. Having paid quite a large sum of money I had high hopes of finding a suitable match. The Matchmaker did not respect my age limit or location preferences and pushed me to date up to 10 years older and men who were farther than I was willing to travel.
Over 1 year later, having found no better alternatives (i.e. still single!), I decided to set up Weston Club as a social club to bring together people of a similar age and mindset to socialise and connect over activities and events.
Alas! I am no longer single....but continue to help others find their special someone.
